Friday 4th to Saturday 5th October - Swansea Arts Weekend - Swansea Arts Weekend is a festival of creative arts celebrating local and international artists, performers and creatives in South Wales.
Saturday 5th October: National Botanic Gardens (1 hrs drive from our bed and breakfast) - UK Fungus Day, 10am - 4pm. Celebrate UK Fungus Day at the National Botanic Garden of Wales! Join us on the 5th of October for a day dedicated to the fascinating world of fungi. Discover the hidden wonders of these incredible organisms through expert talks, guided tours, activities for all, and a display of some of the weird and wonderful fungal species found locally.
Saturday 5th October: Brangwyn Hall (2-3 minswalk just behind our guesthouse) - Craft & Flea -Enjoy a truly unique independent shopping experience at our Indie Makers Market, featuring 60 traders under one roof. Discover an array of items such as plants, prints, cakes, and cushions from local artisans who are passionate about their craftsmanship.
Sunday 13th October: National Botanic Gardens (1 hrs drive from our B&B) - Tywi Valley Vintage Crank Down
Enjoy a display of vintage cars as the members of this community group come together for their traditional annual crank-down event to signal the end of the season with a marvellous display of all sorts of vehicles.
There will be a wide variety of miniature models on display in the Great Glasshouse.
The Towy Valley Vintage Club is run by a friendly group of enthusiasts and is welcoming to new members. 10am - 3pm
