Our B & B is situated close to the city centre, with easy access via taxi from both the central bus depot and train station. We are situated on the main road where customers may park for loading and unloading, there is also free overnight parking but with time restrictions. There is a well-lit public car park close by, about 2-3 minutes' walk, this offer both overnight and day time parking but charges apply, about £6 for all day (2022), less for overnight only.

 

Access to the B & B is via two low steps, one up from the pavement to our path, the other from the path to our front door.

 

The ground floor is level throughout and this includes our breakfast room bar, all this area is clear for wheelchair or push chair access. However, unfortunately the guest house has no ground floor sleeping accommodation or ground floor toilet facilities and no lift. We will of course carry any luggage to and from your room to accommodate and assist with guests physical impairments within reason.

 

Our tables have white crockery on dark green table clothes which is also aimed to help individuals that are visually impaired.

Room 1 has a drop-down seat in the shower and hand rails next to the toilet to help assist guests with mild mobility issues.
